The decor is amazing. The food is great and the amount of food served to you will blow your mind. The prices are very reasonable. I had hush puppies, cole slaw, turnip greens( best I have ever tasted), fried crab claws, 12 pieces of catfish filets, baked potato, and 3 glasses of the best sweet tea. (No I didn't eat it all). The price. $38.00. Can not be beat and I have eaten at a lot of fish houses around this country and this ranks as one of the best. Treat yourself and family if you live within 100 miles, take a ride and enjoy dinner.

It was a very interesting experience. I honestly thought my gps had me lost in the wilderness and then stumbled upon this unique restaurant in the middle of nowhere, lol. They were out of a few items, but that lets me know that they try to keep fresh produce on hand. When you walk in, it doesn't seem at all like any typical restaurant you would come across, but i enjoyed that part of the experience. The food was good, although some items may be considered a bit overpriced for what you receive. Plan on spending about $20 per person. Overall, I was satisfied, although others in our group were disappointed with the pricing and availability of items. The staff were friendly and the food came out hot. I will definitely be back.

Fried whole catfish from MS delta was very good! Served with a side and then the table had shared sides of coleslaw, hush puppies, and collard greens for all. Waitress was attentive and atmosphere relaxed.

Good food especially the greens! The waitress Ava was awesome! The hostess was very friendly and made sure to get us a seat quick. We had greens and Cole slaw and hush puppies for a appetizer also tried the cheese curds they were good! My Ribeye was cooked to perfection! The baked potato was good too! Will definitely go again!

The Salem Opry House is a Catfish House with a History. This neat lil place hidden just a short distance outside of Collins, Ms. When you first pull up, well, the building itself will have your undivided attention, but the best part happens after you get inside and get seated. Not only are the folks great here, the food is too.

We were in town visiting relatives and wanted some of that good ol' Mississippi fried catfish because nobody does it better. Went to the Opry House for dinner. Very cool atmosphere. Service was friendly, the catfish was very good, and the tea was sweet just like I like it! Enjoyed it very much.

Excellent in every way! Best food, best service, best atmosphere…a real HIDDEN GEM!!! We were treated like family. Food was SO tasty, quick & fresh! We ate sooooo much. Favorites: Hushpuppies, coleslaw, turnips greens, crab legs, potatoes, bread pudding! We WILL be back! Highly recommend.
